D7.4 – Show Cases for Future Business Development
This deliverable describes the project’s final event called “IoTCrawler – The Innovations and Solutions of IoT Search”, which was the demonstrator of IoTCrawler’s show cases for future business development.
The original intent of the event was to have it as a physical event in Aarhus (DK) and invite local stakeholders and experts that were interested in the IoTCrawler framework and the show cases. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was instead converted into a webinar format with stages for the hosts set up in Aarhus (DK) and Stuttgart (DE).
A recording of the shared session can be found by visiting link below. The webinar consisted of two parts: 1) a shared session to present the main results of the IoTCrawler project, which included the framework and the showcases 2) following this, three breakout sessions were created for show case demonstrations and feedback for improving and scaling them. A total of ~165 participants took part in the webinar.
The content used to present and demonstrate each show case during the webinar is described in this deliverable. For further insights about technical details, business opportunities and evaluations, and exploitation strategies for the show cases then this can be found in the deliverables: D7.2 and D8.3.
As part of the event and end of the IoTCrawler project, a survey was completed to assess the results from the project.
The feedback from the event and the survey has provided the IoTCrawler partners with valuable feedback that confirms that the project has reached some good and relevant results. The insights from the survey will serve as a valuable asset going forward with the results from the IoTCrawler project
In the light of the Covid-19 crisis, we consider the final event and the demonstration of the show cases for future business development a success. Because the planned physical presentation and workshop became a webinar, it allowed the IoTCrawler project to extend the dissemination of the event through the video recording, which can now be shared and continue to present the results of the project beyond its lifetime.
