The IoTCrawler was mentioned in the acclaimed Austrian Industriemagazin
The IoTCrawler was mentioned in an article about Boost 4.0, an European initiative in Big Data for Industry 4.0 aiming to create an “European Industrial Data Space” that is completely platform-independent. In relation to IoTCrawler, Industriemagazin writes that the search engine makes integration and interaction possible across different platforms.
IoTCrawler developers Josiane Xavier Parreira and Stefan Bischof from IoTCrawler partner Siemens Austria was cited in the magazine: “One goal is to quickly and easily locate sensors in existing production systems” says Bishop. Like his colleague, he covers the data analysis side of the project – and other colleagues from Siemens Austria join in the field of smart grids and smart buildings. The bigger picture: Taking the configurability of complete systems to a new level and working with domain experts from our own company “to make the configurability of IOT devices more manageable” says Josiane Xavier Parreira.
